CliniSys was delighted to support the Institute of Biomedical Science Congress again this year by sponsoring and running the Cyber Café at the ICC, Birmingham 28th – 30th September. The Biomedical Science Congress is the biggest meeting in the UK dedicated to laboratory based medicine and the CliniSys Cyber Café, which allows delegates to prepare and print individual itineraries as well as collect e-mails, is a seen as an essential part and the internet workstations were in constant use over the three days of the congress.
The feedback from the organisers was extremely positive stating that “I think you have managed to get the Cyber Café down to a fine art. Thank you for enhancing the overall Congress experience”. A big thank you goes to our partners Dell who provided the very latest in technology and all in one PCs for the Cyber café.
The congress was very well attended with approx 2,250 delegates and exhibition visitors attending over the three days.
The lecture programme covered all major pathology disciplines and continues to be a vital source of information and training for all biomedical scientists. It was also great to see that a number of our product specialists and domain leads attended the science programme as delegates.
The IBMS Congress is held every two years and we hope to be running the cyber café at the ICC again in 2017.
