Client Services Manager

Job Summary:

  • Line Management of Account Management team covering the following territories based upon commission plans;
    • Scotland
    • Northern Ireland
    • Southern Ireland
    • England

Responsibilities:

  • Work with and follow the guidance of the Commercial Manager;
  • Estatablish and maintain a defined after  sales business plan for all products in agreement with the Commercial Manager and based upon forecasted sales numbers;
  • Delivery of specific objectives within the UK and Ireland Business Plan and other personal objectives set by the Commercial Manager;
  • Establish and maintain a program of business development activities with existing clients across all products;
  • Establish and maintain a call plan that enables the Account Management Team to maintain a high level of account management through direct contact;
  • Delivery of agreed strategic business plans for all customers;
  • Production of periodical management reports against business plan;
  • Manage the development and approval of all commercial proposals with all internal customers to ensure all areas of the proposal meets the needs of the customer and is acceptable and deliverable by all internal stakeholders;
  • Negotiate proposals with customers under the guidance of the Commercial Manager and in line with the authorisation process;
  • Management and personal development of all Account Managers;
  • Provide guidance and periodical appraisals to the Account Management Team;
  • Production of all documentation in line with ISO processes;
  • Assist in presentations, demonstrations, exhibitions, user groups and visits by prospects to existing clients’ sites;
  • Undertake the development of standardised documentation in line with the bid management function including but not exclusively:-
    • After sales proposals;
    • Commercial proposals;
    • Order acceptance documentation;
    • Sales handover documentation and presentations;
    • Contracts;
  • Establish a schedule of document version control in line with quality processes to ensure proposal templates are maintained to the highest quality possible;
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the procurement sales process;
  • Attend agreed meetings with clients and prospects, including site surveys;
  • Formally hand over newly awarded contracts to a relevant project manager via the sales hand over process;
  • Assist in the Sales and Marketing of all CliniSys products and services,
  • Negotiating and renewing client contracts to meet and exceed revenue goals;
  • Facilitate quality activities for the Account Management Team;
  • Participate in the review of agreed research and development projects;
  • Support the development of internal systems;
  • Maintain and update current ISO processes via change control and review at the departments management meetings;
  • Maintain product knowledge.
    • Pathology management systems
    • Any other product agreed by the business
  • Progress personal development and encourage the development of other team members;
  • Travelling and overnight stays as appropriate both overseas and within the UK will be required and may increase in the future;
  • Provide periodical reports as requested by the Commercial Manager;
  • Contribute to the team spirit within the company and undertake any other task assigned by the Senior Management Team.
